How to use EPOS One

A module-by-module guide for restaurant owners and managers — from first login to daily service.

Before you start

  1. Complete your 15-day trial signup with our sales team.
  2. We provision your restaurant database and send admin login details.
  3. Import or build your menu in Admin, then publish to all channels.
  4. Connect Stripe for card payments (optional — cash always works).
  5. Open each app below and complete the one-time branch setup.

EPOS Till (counter & tables)

Open app
  1. Open the Till app and enter your API URL and branch.
  2. Use Floor plan for table service — select a table, add items, Send to Kitchen.
  3. Use Menu tab for walk-in counter orders without a table.
  4. Take Payment with cash or card (Stripe). Tables free automatically after payment.
  5. Works offline for cash — orders queue and sync when back online.

Kitchen Display

Open app
  1. Open KDS on a kitchen monitor and select your branch.
  2. New tickets appear instantly when orders are sent from Till, Online, or Kiosk.
  3. Tap Bump when an item is ready; Recall if you need it back on screen.
  4. Timers help prioritise during busy service.

Admin & Menu Builder

Open app
  1. Settings → select your branch and paste your admin API token.
  2. Menu builder → add categories and items, edit inline, add modifier groups.
  3. Publish to push the menu to Till, KDS, Online, and Kiosk instantly.
  4. Use Reports for sales, day-end, and CSV export.

Online Ordering

Open app
  1. Share your link: online URL + ?branch=YOUR_BRANCH_UUID.
  2. Customers browse the menu, checkout with name and phone.
  3. Choose pay on collect or pay by card if Stripe is connected.
  4. Orders appear on KDS like any other channel.

Self-Service Kiosk

Open app
  1. Open on a touchscreen with ?branch=UUID in the URL.
  2. Guests tap the attractor screen, build their order, and pay cash or card.
  3. Customise attractor text and colours in Admin → Theme.

Inventory & Recipes

Open app
  1. Add ingredients with stock levels and reorder alerts.
  2. Link recipes to menu items — stock depletes automatically on each order.

CRM

Open app
  1. Customer profiles are created from online orders automatically.
  2. Add notes, tags, and view visit history from Admin → Customers.

Loyalty

Open app
  1. Configure points per £ spent and redemption rules.
  2. Points earn automatically when orders are paid.

Theme Builder

Open app
  1. Set brand colours, logo path, receipt header/footer, and kiosk attractor text.
  2. Changes apply to Online Ordering and Kiosk immediately.
